The Council for the Homeless

The Council for the Homeless is a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals in Clark County by helping everyone to have the opportunity for safe and affordable housing. The mission is to lead the community’s efforts to prevent and end homelessness to those in need.

REACH Community Development

REACH Community Development is a nonprofit organization serving Southwest Washington and Portland. They have affordable housing rental communities throughout Clark County stretching from western Vancouver to eastern Washougal.

Vancouver Housing Authority
The VHA provides affordable rental housing and housing assistance for more than 12,000 residents of Clark County, Washington. In addition to affordable housing, the VHA’s community development activities also shape the lives of the people and neighborhoods we serve.

Housing Connections
Housing Connections, a service of 211info, is designed to help people locate affordable housing in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. This program is funded by the Portland Housing Bureau and the Clark County Department of Community Services.

Columbia Non-Profit Housing
Columbia Non-Profit Housing (CNPH) is a non-profit housing developer providing affordable housing opportunities for low-income families and individuals throughout Clark County. CNPH’s particular focus is on the provision of housing for low-income seniors and persons with special needs (chronic mental illness), as well as home ownership opportunities.

Community Housing Resource Center
The Community Housing Resource Center provides education and counseling services to individuals and families in Southwest Washington and throughout the Portland metro area in Oregon. In the past 15 years, the Center has worked with over 28,000 households.

Southwest Washington Community Land Trust
The purpose of the CLT is to acquire and hold land for the benefit of the community. The land is then accessible for use by community residents for affordable housing, business or agriculture.
