Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program recruits, educates, and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent and affordable houses in their communities. Since the inception of Habitat’s Women Build program in 1998 more than 1,900 Habitat for Humanity Women Build houses have been constructed in partnership with low-income families.
Women Build Clinic at Lowe’s
May 3-11, 2014 is National Women Build Week, and there are many fun ways to take part here in Vancouver! On Sunday, May 4th, Evergreen Habitat and Lowe’s (at 117th Ave.) Vancouver, are sponsoring a Power Tool Safety Clinic for women of all experience levels to come and learn new skills! National Women Build Day
